RSS was quite a challenge. Not sure if I did it in the correct way but somehow it worked. I found it easier to work from my Favourites folder and the History folder to cut and paste the blogs in.

I could see RSS working well in a library situation in the future if this technology becomes mainstream and say blogs were set up in different genres for library patrons to subscribe to e.g. Fantasy, Science Fiction etc.

Flickr website is very interesting to explore. I remember in 2007 being made aware of the site when there was a link in an email on the Libtec listserve. It was to view photos take at the LT conference last year.

Whilst searching again on Flickr to see if I could locate these photos, I used the search terms ‘library conference’. I did not find the LT Australian conference but instead found the –
